How does the moving process work?
The moving process consists of 3 main components. Furniture, Packing of Boxes, and Special Handling
How many movers will I get?
To accurately determine how many movers, trucks, and labor hours are required, - this is based solely on the number of cubic feet in volume that is calculated.
Are there any special charges?
A. Special handling charges may occur in two different ways. Bulky Items and Fragile.B. Heavy item fees include piano, pool tables, gun safes, armoires, certain exercise equipment.
C. This also includes any item over 200 lbs going upstairs or 300 lbs in general. Do you have any items that may be close to 300 lbs?
D. The procedure is to bubble wrap and cardboard crate these items. The same policy is applied to the packing of boxes. If the materials are provided, there is no additional fee. Does that make sense?
What is the Packing process like?
A. All furniture -if required, will be disassembled, blanket wrapped, plastic- wrapped, and then set back up at the new location. B. Previously Packed Boxes are placed in the correct location in the new home. The question is, would you like self-pack, full-pack, or potentially both? C. Now, packing services are the same hourly rate as moving services. If the customer provides packing materials, there is no additional fee.
How is my estimate calculated?
A. Well, we'd be glad to help. Let's gather some information ... and I can answer any questions you may have. What's your first name please for the estimate?B. Well, every estimate we provide includes a not-to-exceed price. Meaning, there is a cap. Let me gather some information regarding your actual inventory and I will provide you with pricing after.
C. Ok, great. Now that we've entered the basic furniture information, let’s calculate the distance travel, great, Mr. Grant we have reserved a truck and the dates, the total will be the estimated amount, of this amount today you will make a deposit of 35% deposit, you will now receive a reservation link via text and email. Please let me know when you receive it. The quote is binding and "not to exceed" -contingent upon no additions to inventory at move date.
